摘要

The CeraMetal project includes a series of vessels that combine metal powders and ceramic material to create a unique aesthetic. These objects were created as my final project for my industrial design studies at the Holon Institute of Technology, Holon, Israel. Before the project started I knew I wanted my final project to be a material research. In a regular design process the right material is chosen according to the qualities the product needs to have. On the other hand, a material research starts out with a material the designer wishes to work with, and the product is chosen according to the qualities found in the research.
