The Nd14-x-ySmxEuy(GeO4)2(BO3)6O8 compoundcrystallizes in trigonal system characteristic ofoxyboratogermanates with the general formulaLn14(GeO4)2(BO3)6O8 (Ln=Nd or Sm): space group P31, a=b=9.826(4)?, c=25.860(8)?,V=2162.3 ?,Z=3,ρcalc=5.524g/cm3.The distribution of the Nd, Sm, and Eu atoms over positions in thecrystal is determined.
