摘要

The copper(II) nitrate complex with 4-phenylsemicarbazide (L) CuL_3(NO_3)_2 (I) was synthesized and its reaction with ] 8-crown-6 (18C6) in ethanol was studied. This reaction was found to yield the complex [Cu(NO_3)_2(H_9O)_3] centre dot 18C6 (II), and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray crystallography. The crystals of II are monoclinic: a = 10.081(4) A, b = 13.075(4) A, c = 16.755(6) A, P = 91.73(3)°, Z = 4, space group P2_lln. The structural units of the crystal structure of II are the molecular complexes [Cu(NO_3)_2(H_2O)_3] and the 18C6 molecules in the TGT conformation combined into chain associates by a hydrogen bond system. The coordination polyhedron of the copper atom is a square pyramid. The equatorial Cu-O bonds range within 1.95-1.96 A, and the length of the axial Cu-O(w) bond is 2.24 A.
