摘要

The extraction properties of N,N'-dipentylethylenediamine-N'-thiocarbaldehyde (S) with respect to palladium(II) and silver(I) in nitric solutions have been studied using chloroform and toluene as diluents. Optimal conditions for the extraction of palladium(II) and its separation from silver(I) have been found. It has been shown that the extraction of metal ions follows the solvation mechanism. Apparent concentration constants and thermodynamic parameters of palladium(II) extraction were determined.
