Synthesis of Fullerenol-70-d by Direct Oxidation and Its Identification

摘要

A procedure was developed for the synthesis of a water-soluble derivative of lower fullerene C_(70), fullerenol-70-d, by direct homogeneous catalytic oxidation of C_(70) with alkali. Fullerenol-70-d was identified by electronic absorption and infrared spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
