Revision of the genus Intestinarius gen. n. from Southeast Asia, with notes on a probable autapomorphy of Batrisitae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae)

The new genus Intestinarius is described. The genus includes the type species I. quin-quesulcatus (Raffr.) (Malaysia, Singapore) and seven new species: distorticeps sp.n. (Jawa), kuzmini sp.n. (Yunnan), orthopygium sp.n. (Laos), crassicornis sp.n. (Laos), ingeniosus sp.n. (Sarawak), pexatus sp.n. (Sarawak), diatretus sp.n. (Sarawak). Key to species of the genus is provided. The character that is most probably the first known autapomorphy of Batrisitae is found and discussed.
