Contributions to the Knowledge of the Myrmecophilous Pselaphines (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Pselaphinae) from China. IV. The second species of the Genus Songius (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Pselaphinae), with Description of Its Probable Mature Larva

The second species of the myrmecophilous genus Songius Yin et Li, 2009, S. hlavaci sp. nov., is described and illustrated on the basis of adult male and probable larval specimens collected from Tianmushan Mountain, Zhejiang Province, East China. Boththe adult and larva occur in nests of the ant Lasius (Lasius) niger (Linnaeus, 1758). A key to the species of Songius is given. The systematic position of the species is discussed.
