摘要

The control systems of the modern metal-cutting machine tools must ensure high productivity and reliability of the functioning of the machine tools, particularly in those cases when the machining process has a fundamentally unsteady nature. The most effective technique for solving the problems of the rapid finding of the optimal cutting regimes with respect to the criteria of accuracy, quality, productivity, and the dynamic adjustment of these regimes as a function of the changes of the machining conditions is the use of the adaptive control systems.
