Drivers not properly maintaining tyres: RMA survey

A new nationwide survey conducted by the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA), USA shows that millions of drivers around the country are failing to properly maintain their tyres and are putting themselves at risk while wasting gas and money. The survey found that 55 % of vehicles had at least one under-inflated tyre, and only one in six vehicles had four properly inflated tyres. RMA worked with several tyre retailers to collect actual tyre pressure measurements from more than 6,300 vehicles in over 30 cities.
