Adieu to eminent Polymer Technologist

With deep regret and profound sorrow, we at Rubber As la report the demise of our former Technical Editor K J Jacob Kun-nappally, on July 3, 2013, at his residence in Panvel, Mumbai. He is survived by wife Rosamma, sons Joe, Zachariahs, Jai, daughters-in-law Jancy, Asha and Renu. One of India's eminent polymer technologists, the 79-year old Jacob has contributed immensely in planning the editorial coverage of the magazine in which he wrote a monthly column for several years. His columns on diverse topics were short, crisp and humorous and were widely appreciated by all.
