Pirelli to make China its manufacturing hub

Pirelli & C SpA, the Italian tyre giant, is planning a $200 million investment to make China its largest global manufacturing center by 2014. The expansion of its plant in Yanzhou will more than double annual capacity for passenger tyres and boost truck tyre capacity more than 20%. The investment will make the factory the company's largest.
