Reactions of aromatic dithiols with allyl glycidyl ether and 4-(oxiran-2-ylmethyl)morpholine

摘要

A reaction of allyl glycidyl ether and 4-(oxiran-2-ylmethyl)morpholine with aromatic dithi-ols furnished new substituted sulfur-containing propan-2-ols. The oxirane ring opening upon the action of aromatic dithiols follows a classic version and obeys the Krasuskii rule. O-Acetyl derivatives of some propan-2-ols synthesized were obtained as well.
