摘要

Canadians will likely pay similar prices at the pump this summer compared to last, while natural gas prices and electricity wholesale prices will remain relatively low due to supply surpluses, says the National Energy Board. Regular gasoline is forecast to average between $1.20 and $1.35 per litre based on the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude price likely averaging around $100 (U.S.) per barrel. WTI is expected to continue to trade at a discount to world benchmarks as a result of ongoing supply and demand imbalances and pipeline bottlenecks in mid-North America.
