I am truly amazed! The rapid changes I have observed in China and its infrastructure over the iast 15 years continue to astound me. The landscape has been transformed. In my early days of travel to China, I had eye-opening experiences as to how backward this country appeared and how poor the living conditions were for the Chinese people. At the time, it was not uncommon to be traveling over dirt roads that had very little grading. The airports were antiquated as well as dilapidated.
