Biden awards $623 million in grants to expand EV charging infrastructure

The Biden administration awarded $623 million in grants Jan.11 to help states and local governments expand electric vehiclecharging.The money was made available through the bipartisaninfrastructure law of 2021 and will support rising EV deployment,with more than 4 million electric vehicles now on US roads,according to the US Transportation Department.
