People in the Hobby, Part II

In last month's column, I introduced the idea that the people in our hobby are far more important than any mineral specimens we may collect and own. I would be the first to admit I have been the luckiest rockhound ever, but that luck is because of people, not rocks. The years I spent on the Show Committee of the great Tucson Gem & Mineral Society Show* really had a profound impact on me. I met many of the people who impacted my life at that show.
