People in the Hobby, Part I

I doubt there is a rockhound reader who doesn't look back and think about the people beyond immediate family who have affected their life. As I approach my 90th birthday, I certainly do. Having travelled the world over and been totally involved in our hobby, I am sure the real treasure is not the minerals I've collected and owned, its the people who have crossed my path, many of whom are responsible for the success and complete joy I still get from the hobby.
