Sound proofing of iron and steel works. Innovative techniques for a strategy of progress

摘要

Sound intensity measurements and noise propagation modelization by the 《ray tracing》 method are new techniques allowing an adequate and rational solving of sound-proofing problems. This paper describes the methodology of these techniques and their use through the example of an electric steelmaking shop.
