摘要

Ionophores 6, 9, 12-trioxa -3, 15- dithiaheptadecane-1, 17-diamide (S1) and 1-(2, 2, 2-hydroxbenzylideneamino) ethylimino methyl phenoxy anthracene 9, 10-dione (S2) were synthesized. Ionophore S1 was synthesized by condensing dichlorotetraethyleneglycol with thioglycoanilide whereas ionophore S2 was synthesized by condensing ionophore 2,2'(l,l')-(e1hane-l,2 diylbis (azan-1-yl-ylidene) bis methanol-1-yl-1-ylidene)diphenol (S3) with 1-chloroanthraquinone. These synthesized ionophores were characterized by TLC, m.p. & spectral analysis and were used in extraction and facilitated transport of transition metal ions (Cu~(2+), Zn~(2+)and Ni~(2+)) through a liquid membrane system. The observed sequence for the extraction of metal ions by S2 and S3 ionophores is Cu~(2+)>Ni~(2+) The trend for transport by all the three ionophores is Cu~(2+)> Zn~(2+)>Ni~(2+).
