Macular fibrosis in Coats disease.

We read with great interest the article by Jumper et al titled, "Macular fibrosis in Coats disease" published in volume 30, supplement April 2010. Although vascular elements were never described in histopatho-logic studies, the authors suggest the neovascular nature of the macular ribrosis. This is supported by the presence of intraretinal vascular anastomosis in the affected area and leakage in fluorescein angiography. We would like to sustain this hypothesis showing a case of macular fibrovascular lesion in a child with Coats disease.
