摘要

The liquid-liquid extraction, speciation, sequential separation and tracedeterminations of arsenic, antimony and bismuth with the synthesized 15-crown-5-phenylbenzohydroxamic (CPBHA) are reported. Arsenic, antimonyand bismuth are extracted at pH 5.0, 2.5 and 2.5 M HCl, respectively indichloromethane and they are recovered in the presence of a large number ofcations and anions. The influences of CPBHA, pH and molarity of HCl,diverse ions and temperature on the distribution constant have been reported.Arsenic gives a light yellow coloured complex λ_(max)400 nm with molarabsorptivity 2.5 x 10~4L mol~(-1)cm~(-1), antimony gives a light pink colouredcomplex λ_(max)420 nm having molar absorptivity 2.0 x 10~4L mol~(-1) cm~(-whilebismuth has Xmax 430 nm with molar absorptivity 1.8 x 10~4L mol~(-1)cm~(-1). Forthe trace determination, the extracts were directly inserted into plasma forICP-AES measurements which enhances the sensitivity 70 folds and obeysBeer's Law for As(III) 3.0-32.0 ng ml~(-1), for Sb(III) 8.5 – 88 ng mL~(-1)and forBi(III) 20.0-171.0 ng m1:1 . The trivalent and pentavalent arsenic, antimonyand bismuth were simultaneous estimated. The method is applied for thedetermination of As, Sb and Bi in alloys, industrial effluents, environmentaland biological samples.
