THE DARLING RANGE IN Western Australia's south has long been touted as the largest producing alumina region in the world, supplying about 23% of global production and making it hot property for many juniors around the country. Bauxite Resources is the biggest tenement holder in the Darling Range and an accelerated drill program over the past 12 months has seen it grow the resource base about 500%.
