Going Dutch

The 2007 acquisition by Shanks of Dutch company Orgaworld means that the company can offer a range of organics treatment solutions in the UK. And, since its formation in 2000, Orgaworld has already grown from its roots in the Netherlands, to having facilities in Belgium and Canada. Using a range of wet and dry anaerobic digestion, in-vessel composting and tunnel composting facilities, Orgaworld is capable of creating vast quantities of compost, biogas and solid recovered fuel at each of its five Dutch sites.
