The challenge of handling radiation curable materials has been one of the key factors holding back their adoption. Too many companies have tried radiation curable inks after seeing good results from lab and pilot curing lines and then tried to apply these inks and coatings on existing machines, only to give up when they realised that special handling and cleaning techniques were needed.
