Characterisation of nanomaterials in accordance with the Reach Regulation

The German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) presents a literature review of the applicability of the Reach test methods regulation (EC Regulation No 440/2008) to nanomaterials. The first part of the review explains the various terms used for nanomaterials and explains the classification of nanomaterials.
