DEINOVE REPORTS INCREASE IN NET LOSS

Alternext-lised Deinove, a cleantech company that designs and develops new industrial production standards based on the Deinococci bacteria, reported a net loss for H1 2014 of EUR-3.9 mln, compared with EUR-1.3 mln in the previous year. The company's growth and its two expanding research programs caused a 44% rise in operating expenses. The net result is also impacted by nonrecurring costs related to a capital increase project cancelled at the start of July. The net cash position was EUR2.8 mln as of June 30. The company estimates being able to finance its activities up to mid-2015.
