QPI sharpens focus on Asian petrochemicals

Qatar Petroleum International (QPI) is increasing its participation in the south-east Asian petrochemical market, by stepping up its investment in Vietnam's $4.6bn Long Son Petrochemical Project. The move could help to boost economic contributions from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries to Qatar, the Thai ambassador to the Gulf Arab state said at a recent event.
