Comfort and safety are two important factors in furnishing modern passenger transport systems. Polyester fobres that are inherently flam-retardant offer great advantages and are increasingly being used to furnish ships, aircraft and trains. Comfort is generated when an agreeable ambience is created through the use of attractive textiles. The Trevira fibre and filament yarn programme has grown considerably over the years, so that today practically any fabric construction can be achieved.
