Although being an educator is often rewarding, no one ever said it was easy. In fact, being an educator is hard work. Our job is to help students become the best radiologic technologists possible, but we must overcome hurdles to make students' dreams a reality.Educators live in a world of constant change. Each year we bring in a new group of students and say goodbye to others. We have to stay on top of changes with technology and the radiologic science curriculum. There is always a lecture that needs to be revamped (or even tossed and redone), a class to conduct, a meeting to attend, a topic to research, or a student who needs immediate attention. The list goes on and on, as does the need for extra time in the day.
