Indalex Acquisition Extends North American Market for Sapa

On July 31, 2009 Sapa completed its purchase of Indalex Aluminum Solutions Group, formerly North America's second largest independent extruder, according to the asset purchase agreement entered into by the parties on June 16, 2009. The acquisition includes Indalex's eleven active plants, six in the U.S. and five in Canada, with two casthouses and 29 presses.
