Our nights spent in the relative luxury of the Hotel Los Arcos in La Paz were probably the most relaxing of the entire trip; not only did the air conditioner work, it was quiet. So we slept well and awoke refreshed. This must have been true for our entire party, because everyone was assembled in the hotel lobby at the appointed hour, and the vans pulled away from the curb at 7:59 a.m., one minute ahead of schedule! Today's trip was to take us southwest from La Paz, back across the peninsula to the Pacific Ocean side at Todos Santos, and then along the ocean to the very tip of the Cape.
