Filtration Society's 2011 conference to take filter media as central theme

The UK Filtration Society's annual conference, which this year takes filter media as its central theme, is being held on 12-13 October 2011 at the Ramada Hotel, Christleton, Chester, UK. Called 'Filter Media 5', the conference and exhibition will also have an associated short course and workshop. The short course on 12 October will review the processes involved in the manufacture, properties and applications of filter media used in liquid and air (gas) filtration. It will be led by Professor Richard Wakeman and Dr Steve Tarleton from Loughborough University.
