摘要

Prediction of solution conductivities based on the concentration of surfactant ions,counterions,and micelles requires realistic models for micellization.The mass-action model is quite reasonable to discuss micellar formation and to interpret thermodynamic data provided that the micellar aggregation number is relatively small,in the order of a few hundreds,and dispersion of micellar sizes is not significant.Conductivity data are then analyzed in terms of the Debye-Huckel-Onsager theory by treating the aqueous monomers and micelles as a solution of mixed electrolytes according to Kohlrausch's law.
