IAgrE President, RICHARD ROBINSON argues that product information should be used to encourage safe and sensible machinery operation. FIRSTLY, I have been very pleased to receive responses to some of my previous jottings, they are most welcome, and I really appreciate them. In our village we have a large mixed, but mainly dairy farm that has to exist with other villagers who have precious little understanding of the pressures on farmers, and modern farmers in particular. Nobody is really interested in what goes on in the field, unless it is smelly or stops them walking their dogs, but use of our narrow roads exposes tractor drivers to public scrutiny.
