Over the last few years charged aerosol detection (CAD) has been widely accepted by a growing number of pharmaceutical companies as the universal detection system of choice.The technique possesses a unique combination of performance (sensitivity,dynamic range,response independent of chemical structure,reproducibility) and robustness that make it ideal for impurity/ degradation testing,formulation characterisation,and the validation of cleaning processes.
