We have surveyed, with recalculation where required, existing empirical and RGM-derived local d-He-4 potentials in order to identify, in empirically derived potentials, features predicted by RGM. Qualitative consistency emerges, but the energy dependence of the Majorana central component of the d + He-4 interaction, as determined by inversion of RGM S-matrix, suggests a ratio of even-l to odd-l central potential (expressed in terms of volume integrals) of about 1.5 at E-lab = 10 Mev.
