New research led by Wyle Laboratories for the ACRP has developed enhancements designed to improve the ability of the Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT) to predict helicopter noise. The AEDT's rotorcraft prediction methodology is derived from the INM, which has been incorporated into the AEDT, and the Heliport Noise Model, which previously was incorporated into INM Version 7.0.
