The basic constituents of these products is CER-WOOL Ceramic Fiber.CER-WOOL Ceramic Fiber is manufactured by the proprietary "Erwin Process." In this process, the fiber is spun from molten mineral raw materials. The filaments produced are of exceptional length (8"/203 mm avg.) as well as of relatively uniform diameter.It is these long, flexible filaments that give CER-WOOL Ceramic Fiber products their strength advantages over most other brands. CER-WOLL Ceramic Fiber products stand up to abuse in handling and in service. They resist the erosive effects of circulating furnace gases, maintaining thickness and integrity during both initial heat-up and normal service.
