摘要

We present the results of electrochemical investigation of VT5 titanium alloy, 12Kh18N10T stainless steel, and the same type of steel with various wear-resistant coatings in solutions of ace-tylsalicylic acid (pH 2.6) and calcium gluconate (pH 6.8). Under the conditions of abrasive friction in technological media, the highest protective efficiency against electrochemical corrosion is exhibited by diamond-like carbon coatings whose electrochemical behavior is independent of the mechanical actions upon the surface.
