The intellectual influence of Marc Jeannerod (December 12th 1935-July 1st 2011) on experimental and theoretical research in Cognitive Neuroscience (and Cognitive Sciences more generally) in the past half century has been profound (see "The Legacy of Marc Jeannerod", by Pierre Jacob in the present issue). On October 29-30th 2012, an International Symposium was organized in his honor in Lyon, at the Institute for Cognitive Sciences, of which he was a founder. The papers in the present issue represent the outcome of that event. They address topics Marc Jeannerod was interested in or contributed to in the course of his long and rich scientific life.
