Strongly Subspectral Polymeric Series Containing the Cyclobutadiene Moiety

Series of strongly subspectral molecular graphs (i.e. having a preponderance of common eigenvalues) corresponding to conjugated hydrocarbon polyenes containing cyclobutadiene moieties are presented and their HMO electronic/structural properties are studied. Analytical expressions for these series are derived. The first example of strongly subspectral series containing heteroatoms is presented.
