Questar Pipeline in Sweet Spot With Rockies Poised for Growth

Questar Pipeline is a company almost no one outside the Rocky Mountain region knows about, but the 2,500-mile system is strategically located in a region that needs new capacity to deliver stranded gas to markets, says Questar Pipeline President Allan Bradley.Two recent projects involve a 300 million cubic feet per day compression upgrade to support the Rockies Express (Rex) expansion, then a 44-mile loop to support the El Paso's planned Ruby Pipeline from near Opal, Wyoming, to Malin, Oregon, Bradley told Natural Gas Week on a recent trip to Houston. These projects will help eliminate bottlenecks and ensure growing supplies are fairly prices with access to the best markets, he said.
