Gulf Role as Resource Play Only Growing with Deepwater Activity

The deepwater frontier region of the Gulf of Mexico is playing an even larger role in oil and gas production from the region and the trend is for that growth to continue. That is one of the conclusions of a new federal study of the Gulf of Mexico that was released last week at the Offshore Technology Conference 2008 by the federal Minerals Management Service.
