For more than 60 years,Alberta has been the center of Canada's oil and gas industry,by far the largest producer of hydrocarbons in the North American nation.The province still will be Canada's largest oil and gas producer,but the glamorous action has moved elsewhere,to the shale gas plays in British Columbia,Quebec and even the Maritimes Provinces of Atlantic Canada - along with the Bakken oil shale in Saskatchewan.
