Cabot Output Up in Third Quarter, Trend for Further Growth in 2015

Cabot Oil & Gas said its production continued to rise during the third quarter, shaking off a recent slide in commodity prices, and added that it will be able to substantially grow its natural gas and oil production in 2015. Cabot pumped roughly 1.44 billion cubic feet of gas equivalent per day during the July-September period, the majority of which (96%) was natural gas, but the firm continues to grow its liquids volumes. During the second quarter, it produced 10,445 barrels per day of liquids, up 32% year-over-year from its continued operations.
