Powder metallurgy (PM) offers an attractive route for the manufacture of duplex ferritic-austenitic stainless steels, which have an excellent combination of properties suiting them for use in harsh environments. Copper is known to enhance thesintering of PM stainless steels. Here P. Datta and G.S.
