Greek market for longs on the rise

Longs prices keep moving up in Greece. In particular, local mills have announceda EUR 40/t increase in domestic prices at the end of last week, referring togrowing scrap cost. Besides, export quotations of Greek longs have risen byEUR 80/t, while prices for import material have increased by EUR 60-65/t.Moreover, the market is seeing a slight shortage of finished products, whichsupports the upward trend.
