Profile of Kannada Farm Magazines

摘要

The readership survey provides valuable information on the acceptance of the periodical by the readers, their views, preferences and reactions to the contents and their suggestions for improvement to get the feedback from the readers in an acceptablemanner (Kamat, 1969). However, in the absence of analysis of the various aspects of the reporting readership surveys cannot provide any useful measures. Therefore, an attempt was made to study the profile of Kannada agriculture reporting in the monthly magazines. The Adike Patrike, Krishi Munnade which brought out from co-operatives and government sectors were purposively selected.
