Results of the laser synthesis of carbon nanomaterials during the deposition of carbon vapors have been presented. One feature of this method is the action on the carbon samples in atmospheric air and external fields. Experiments on the laser action on the carbon targets in the presence of constant electric and inhomogeneous magnetic fields have been performed. The possibility of obtaining carbon micro- and nanofibers upon the deposition of particles in the electric field and carbon micro- and nanoclusters upon the deposition of particles in the magnetic field has been demonstrated. It has been shown that a change in the target material and action modes allows one to change the structure of the deposited layer.
