ALUMINUM PRICE TRENDS IN DECEMBER 2010

Three-month LME price hovered around 2,350 dollars/ ton in the first half of December 2010. In the second half, price rose some 100 dollars to 2,450 dollars/ton affected by the advance in the copper price. Japan's spot price for primary aluminum moved almost in line with the LME prices and rose from the level of 215,000-220,000 RMB/ton in the first half of the month to 225,000 RMB/ton in the second half.
